While I cleaned out the fridge after a Jello incident (J can hardly wait for the stuff to solidify) J decided on a cool place to chill |
In 2013 I had a baby girl named Destiny. She lived to be 38 days old. I learned that a lot can happen in 38 days. A person can fall in love so deeply and completely that when that love is taken they feel like they have died too. I learned that life is too short. Cliche, I know. I learned that we all have a destiny to fulfill. My daughter fulfilled hers. I realized I could no longer ignore my destiny. Or stand idly by while others ignored their destiny. So here I am, designing for destiny.
Cute Kids!
The Awesome Train
Grams gives J the massage treatment. He was giggling and loving it. |
His face afterward said "MORE PLEASE!" Oh yeah, and he got his hair done... Silly boy. |
Welcoming Sweet P
One oz. short of being a 9 lb. baby. Born 21 inches long, just like his older brother. With faint signs of red in his hair, we can only hope it might stay, this bundle of cuddly cuteness came into our lives...
House hunting
So, pretty much everyone knows what house hunting is like, or at least if you don't know, you will probably experience it some day.
This is the Village Park apartment complex where we got to stay while we were on the house hunt. Not cheap, but very nice.
We had a good ward and some interesting neighbors here. The location was great for using the bus. Our two bedroom apartment had a walk-in laundry room and the closets were so HUGE, it was almost like having the space of a three bedroom.
For the year that we stayed here we must have walked through a hundred houses and tried to buy 10 different ones that fell through before we found our place. It was a long year but a good one.
